Vendors Rules & Regulations

 

Exhibitors must make application with only one exhibitor per booth.  Notification of acceptance will be made by the Festival’s Exhibition Committee by no later than March 15th, 2006.  No vendor may sell raffle tickets or chances for any organization.

 

You will be notified of booth space location and time you need to set-up at 7:00am.  The Festival officially opens at 9:00 A.M. and ends at 6:00 P.M., April 8th.  You will be expected to remain open the entire day, unless approved otherwise by the Exhibition Committee.

 

If you will be selling or giving samples of food, you must include all ingredients, clearly on packaging of any and all food distributed from your booth.  If you sell or distribute any food not approved by the Exhibition Committee or The Chamber, Gadsden & Etowah County, you will be asked to leave the premises.

 

If you need electrical hook-ups, you must check the appropriate box(es) on the Vendor Application Form.  In order to make sure you have the power you need, the Vendor Committee must have your request for power by March 15th, 2006.  All booths are expected to stay open for the duration of the festival.

 

The Vendor Committee or The Chamber, Gadsden & Etowah County, reserves the right to reject any materials, foods, or other items it deems unsuitable.  All exhibitors are expected to comply with State of Alabama tax regulations or, if a food vendor, those of the Etowah County Health Department.

 

Applications must be signed and filled out in its entirety where applicable.  Please type or print clearly.

 

I, the undersigned exhibitor, hereby make applications for booth space for sale, demonstration, or information purposes in The Alabama Chocolate Festival in Rainbow City, Alabama.  The City of Rainbow City or The Chamber, Gadsden & Etowah County, shall not be held responsible for injury or loss that may occur or come to the exhibitor or his/her assistants, or his goods for any cause whatsoever, while premises are being occupied under this agreement.

 

The Alabama Chocolate Festival in Rainbow City has made the following decisions:  No material that is or could be controversial to any particular group will be allowed.  As the display of religious, cultural, or ethnic memorabilia, the committee will not allow display or sales of such.  The Chamber, Gadsden & Etowah County’s(a sponsoring organization) attorney has advised us that it is best to avoid confrontation.  No exceptions will be made and any vendor violating this decision will be asked to leave the festival premises.  We appreciate your adherence to this decision.

 

Any accepted application fee is non-refundable after March 24th, 2006.  The Alabama Chocolate Festival in Rainbow City or The Chamber, Gadsden & Etowah County hereby reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time immediately upon verbal notice and to revoke all rights of  exhibitor in connection therewith, including compelling any exhibitor to remove his or her product and exhibit from the premises of The Alabama Chocolate Festival in Rainbow City.
